Although I’ve considered alyssum an absolute must in the garden, I’ve always fallen back on the traditional white flowers to grace various areas of the garden. Tried violet and was stunned by the prettiness. And so the exploration began. New favorites abound and this is definitely one of them, along with Lemonade (a luscious buttercup yellow)! Remains surprisingly controlled and as they faded I treated them the way I treat my Carpet of Snow variety, just chopped it back. Although it’s an annual, they readily reseed and some have even been known to regenerate (typically those are the one’s that were sheltered by another plant. Packet contains 50 seeds.
For your convenience, Easter Bonnet Lemonade alyssum is also included so you don’t have to search for it in case you want to try both individually. Or, you can purchase the mixture and enjoy the best of both worlds 🙂
