6 GRAPE VINE CUTTINGS MIX  [ Black Monukka Grape Vine + Thompson Seedless Grape Vine ]

Your order will include a mixture of 6 fresh grape vine cuttings that are ready for immediate planting.  The varieties included are Thompson Seedless and Black Monukka.  Please note, you will receive a mixture of cuttings that are not labeled.  If you require labeled cuttings, please contact me for a special order request as noted below.

Both these vines are exceptional producers in my sunny, organic Southern California garden.  Thompson Seedless produces beautiful, bright green clusters of sweet, tasty grapes.  They rarely make it into the house because we pick and eat and are always amazed how quickly they disappear.  The Black Monukka is a beautiful and incredibly hardy European grape vine that starts off producing green grapes and ultimately turn into juicy black clusters that are so large they tend to weigh the vines down. Provide them with substantial support. They are delicious and we often fight with the thieving squirrels who would eat every bundle if given an opportunity.  Luckily, this vine produces so many clusters it can be a challenge to keep up with the harvest so there tends to be plenty to go around (thankfully).  Once established, both vines can quickly take over during the growing seasons.  Ours are planted along the fence and used as a privacy hedge which provide us with beautiful leaves, additional height (as they grow tall as well as wide) along with delicious fruit.  The growing season in my area start in early spring and well into the winter months when not extremely cold.

This year my vines have taken off in every direction which is why I am able to share the vines so soon into the season.  Feel free to contact me should you have any questions about growing or pruning.

What you should know before you purchase: Grape vines require substantial growing space, support and pruning.  They have been known to grow upwards of 115 feet in length.  They are easily grown in pots (which is the way I started growing mine) but will require staking and frequent pruning otherwise they will grow in multiple directions and entangle themselves into whatever is close.  While I have found them extremely easy to care for, some may find them to be a nuisance (like my neighbor) as they are rapid growers (which is one of the reasons I love them).  They are not easily tamed if allowed to grow wild.

Please remember, this listing is specifically for unlabeled cuttings as I reduce the size of the various vines currently growing in my garden.  If you require labeled cuttings, a special order can be created for you for 6 cuttings with a listing price of $25 plus shipping.  You can also specify the number of cuttings of each variety you prefer to have shipped.  Each listing is for a maximum of 6 cuttings.
